Accelerated Reader

The Accelerated Reader party will be tomorrow, Thursday, October 4, 2012.  Due to some computer difficulties, not all students were able to take tests, so all 1^st through 5^th graders are invited to the Kickoff party. Students may come in Casual Uniform (St. Luke shirt with jeans) on Thursday. The following first through fifth grade students were able to test and meet their Accelerated Reader goals for September!  The stars indicate the top point earner in each grade.

First Grade

Second Grade

Gregory, Belinda, Eliseo, *Joshua, Alexia, Manny, Diego, Frida, Polycarp, Jayden, Andrew

Fifth Grade

Stephen, Daniela, *Teresa, Jaihan

 All of the students in the second grade made their goals in September! Special congratulations go to fifth-grader Teresa, who earned the most points this month out of all the 1^st-5^th grade classes.  In second place was fifth-grader Jaihan and in third place was second-grader Joshua.

Parents:  If you can help with the AR party on Thursday, we need cookies, napkins, juice and cups.  Please send donations to Mrs. Heaton on Thursday morning. The party will be at 1:30 in the Cafeteria. Safe Environment trained volunteers are needed to help serve and supervise. Thank you!
