At the top of the blog page, you will find a tab for our class schedule. I hope this can be helpful for scheduling appointments.

Campbell Labels for Education

As mentioned at the Potluck Dinner,  you can link your Kroger, Tom Thumb and other grocery cards directly to Campbell Labels for Education.  Then when you buy a participating product, the school will automatically get points.  You can also cut off the labels for mailing in.  This way we can collect points 2 ways.  I am including the website to link up your cards.

Volunteers Needed

Notes

• Potluck Dinner tomorrow, 6 to 8 pm, Parish Hall
• Beginning Friday, our class will be in the Family Life Center until we are cleared to return.
• Parking: the parking lots around the elementary building are closed until the roof repairs are completed due to possibility of blowing or falling debris.
• Car-line: Please bear with us. We are learning the cars as quickly as we can and trying to maintain safety procedures. Please help us by remaining in your car in the line.

• Mrs. Heaton's Blended Math Class:  Worksheet 2B, give note to parents.
• Reading-Read library book.

Notes

• Second Grade needs room parents! We need 2 Safe Environment Trained parents to be our room parents. This involves coordinating parties and volunteers. This is a volunteer position that can be done mostly from home. It would be great to have a bilingual team. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested.
• They are starting on the roof repair and certain areas will be blocked off from parking. Please allow extra time in the morning for dropping off.
• Beginning on Friday, August 31st, all elementary classes will be moved elsewhere on campus. 2nd grade will be in the Family Life Center that is connected to the gym. Please bring your child there on Friday morning. If your child goes to the cafeteria in the morning, a teacher will bring the children to their temporary classrooms. Work on the roof should be finished by the end of next week.

• Technology-Complete and color computer parts worksheet. Study to become familiar with the parts of the computer.
• Reading-Read assigned book with someone, with each person reading alternating pages.

Notes

• The students are creating a video about our class rules. It should be available for viewing later this week.
• If you received the wrong bundle of raffle tickets, please return them in the morning and the correct set will be sent home ASAP.
• Now that Irving ISD is in session, please allow for extra drive time in the morning in order to avoid tardies.

Back-to-School Potluck Dinner

Please make plans to join us for St. Luke's Annual Back-to-School Potluck Dinner. Bring a dish to share while you meet your children's classmates and their families. The dinner will be Thursday, August 30th from 6-8pm in the Parish Hall. Hope to see you there!
