Wax Museum

I have just added links to some sample speeches and a poster slide show (with suggestions) to the Wax Museum Project Guidelines (tab at top of page). I will be adding some additional posters and some costume photos in the next couple of days, so please check it again.

Walkathon

Our last Walkathon Pep Rally is tomorrow. Please send any money your child has collected tomorrow morning so they can get credit for it at the Pep Rally.

Thursday

Wax Museum Project
I have returned all the speech rough drafts received so far. Please help your child make any suggested corrections and return it as soon as possible. Students will need to turn in a final preferably typed copy of the speech no later than Tuesday, April 24th. Speeches should be between 1 to 2 minutes in length and easily memorized.

Field Trip
Field Trip permission forms were sent home yesterday. So far I have transportation for 9 students. We need 8 more seats.  If you can accompany us, please let me know as soon as possible, along with the number of seats you have available (students must be in seat belts and cannot sit in the front seat).

Homework
Reading-Read library book.
Social Studies-Revise speech and work on poster.
Science- Work on project
Return field trip permission and fees.

Wax Museum Project
I will be returning the speech rough drafts tomorrow. Please help your child make any suggested corrections and return it as soon as possible. Field Trip
Field Trip permission forms were sent home today. Next Thursday, April 26th, we will be visiting the Palace of Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe It or Not, followed by a picnic lunch at Running Bear Creek Park . We need 3 or 4 drivers/chaperones. If you can accompany us, please let me know as soon as possible, along with the number of seats you have available (students must be in seat belts and cannot sit in the front seat).

Homework

Regular homework will be light for the next 3 weeks as the students prepare for the Wax Museum and the Science Fair.

Math-finish lesson 100. Assessment tomorrow.
Social Studies-Rough draft of speech due tomorrow.
