Appointments

When your child has to leave school early, please send a note or email in advance to let me know. This will make for a quicker and more organized departure. Most 3rd and 4th graders will remember to tell me they have to leave early, but sometimes they are a little vague on the time. If I have a solid time frame, I can get your child packed up and prepared to leave and you won't have to wait for very long. This is especially true when a student is picked up near the end of the day, which is usually very busy.

Uniform

Beginning Monday, shorts may no longer be worn. Also, please remember that girls wear jumpers and boys wear slacks n on all Mass days, even if it is not Friday.

Here are some cold weather guidelines from the handbook.

Girls-Crew or (during cold weather) knee socks
Navy or White tights during cold weather (These are footed tights, not leggings.)

Sweater— Only the School Logo sweatshirt, hoodie or jacket may be worn in the classroom during cool weather. In cold weather, students should also have an additional winter coat or jacket for outside wear. Long sleeved solid white undershirts may be worn on very cold days under the polo and sweatshirt. 

Please make sure your child's sweatshirts and jackets are labeled with the family name.

Belt-Some students are forgetting to wear their school belts. It should be a black, brown or navy belt. This is for boys and girls when wearing slacks or school shorts.

Big IQ Kids Spelling ( www.bigiqkids.com). The user name is maheaton and the password is saints. Then click on spelling program. Be sure to choose the correct spelling list from the drop-down menu.
