Science Fair

The Science Fair is this Thursday from 10:00 to 11;30 a.m. Parents, please join us if possible. Students will bring their projects with them in the morning in order to set them up on time.

I have urged all of the students to get as much finished as possible this weekend.

Talent Show

Please join us for the Talent Show tomorrow night at 7pm in the Parish Hall. Many of our 3rd and 4th grade students are participating. Brisket sandwiches will be available for purchase.

Walkathon Tomorrow

We will have our spelling test tomorrow, so please study tonight.

Mass
Girls are singing. Please meet Sr. Terry at the church at 7:30. Students may wear their Walkathon attire to Mass tomorrow.

Please turn in your money and forms!

Clothing: Walkathon t-shirt or another St. Luke shirt; jeans or shorts- shorts must be walking length, no skinny jeans or shorts; athletic shoes

Students may also bring: sunscreen, water bottle, sunglasses, hat. Students are solely responsible for keeping up with their own possessions. Please label with student's name.

Students with allergies: Please take allergy medicine in the morning.

A free hot dog lunch will be provided for all students.

Parent volunteers are needed to help supervise the walk, man the water stations, and serve lunch.

Field Trip Tomorrow

REMINDER

Students

• Bring a disposable, non-perishable lunch in a plastic bag (no soda, no glass, nothing that needs to be brought back home).

• Wear your uniform or jeans (or jean shorts) with St. Luke polo shirt and school shoes. No sweatshirts, no short shorts, or skinny jeans.

•  You may bring money for the gift shop.

•  No electronics including cell phones, cameras, game devices, music.

Chaperones

•  Bring a disposable, non-perishable sack lunch (no soda, no glass).

•  Please arrive at the school by 9 a.m. Check in at the office and leave the following documents with Mrs. Harwerth:

o  copy of driver’s license

o  copy of car insurance

Wax Museum

Posters are due tomorrow. Please send posters in tomorrow even if they are not finished. I will check them and then return any that need more work. If the poster is not done at all, please send a note with the expected completion date.

Speeches were due last week. Most students are close to having a final copy now. As students work on memorizing the speeches, changes may need to be made. If at all possible, please type your child's speech and email it to me slcsheaton@yahoo.com . Then we can make the necessary tweaks at school.

Field Trip on Thursday. We have our drivers and chaperones. Thank you, everyone! Permission slips and fees should be sent in no later than tomorrow.
