School Mass August 28, 2011 at 11am

Please join us for the monthly School Mass on August 28, 2011 at 11am. The students will be singing, reading, and bringing up the gifts. We are also celebrating Fr. Frank's first anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. The children have made cards for him. Kara was chosen to carry up the cards for 3rd grade and Stephen was chosen to present the 4th grade cards.

Thanks everyone for being at the Mass on Sunday. 13 out of our 17 class families were there!

Great PTP Potluck Dinner

Thanks to everyone for coming out last night to the PTP Potluck. The food was wonderful and so abundant. The fourth grade class had 100% attendance so we earned part of the 50/50 raffle! The students and I will talk about what we should get for the classroom.

Volunteering:
If anyone is interested in a volunteer service hour opportunity that can be done at home, please email me or send a note with your child. At the moment, I have materials that need to be cut out.

It's So Hot Outside!

With the temperatures so high, lunch recess is spent inside. But as you can see, we still manage to have fun! Our future engineers, architects, and acrobats are busy practicing their skills. The students will tell you that recess is never long enough!

What's the Matter?

If your fourth grader starts asking for vegetable oil or syrup, he is just bringing science class home with him. We did an experiment on the density of different liquids. See if your child remembers which is heaviest- Water, oil, or syrup? They made some great scientific observations. For more information and activities about matter , check out:
