Notes
- Due to air-conditioning repairs, 1st and 2nd grade will continue to be in the Family Life Center until Friday. The other elementary classes return to the elementary building tomorrow.
- The feast of Mary's birthday is this Saturday, September 8th. We will be celebrating on Friday. Our class needs a volunteer to make a dozen cupcakes with white or PALE blue frosting. Please email me at slcsheaton@yahoo.com if you can help.
- The last date scheduled for Safe Environment Training is this Thursday, September 6th, at 6pm.
What Did You Do at School Today?
- Math: Attributes: classifying pattern blocks by shape, size, or color. Facts practice: Doubles (0+0, 1+1, 2+2, etc.)
- Science: Scientific Properties-Using our senses to tell about objects
- Music
- Library: Checked out 2 Accelerated Reader books to read this week.
- Language Arts: Began writing stories for wordless picture books. Finished our alliterative phrases and illustrations.
- Story-time: Alexander's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst.
